We are so proud to have donated $10,174 as part of these efforts. And we can’t thank you enough for your generous spending in support of this cause. As activist Howard Zinn said: “Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world.” So we are doing every little bit we can to help, including our ongoing commitment to produce sustainable, nature-inspired jewellery locally in Australia. There are still so many in need of help right now, though, so below we’ve compiled a few of the ways you can support the ongoing fire relief.
- Donate funds to Foodbank Australia, or visit their Instagram for food drop-off spots
- Donate to the Fire Relief Fund for First Nations Communities
- Donate to emergency wildlife funds like those set up by Wires and WWF
- Donate directly to charities like the Red Cross Relief and Recovery Appeal
Other ways you can help include: writing a letter to your local MP, leaving water out for animals, walking instead of driving, planting more, saying no to single use plastic, going solar, switching to a responsible bank, supporting local sustainable businesses, and spending some time visiting Australian towns that need help rebuilding.
